Docol® tube is now available for select chassis builds and components. It delivers roughly 10–15% higher strength than 4130 with improved fatigue performance and a smaller, more tolerant heat-affected zone. With a clean mill finish and consistent properties, it typically requires less prep, resists warping/distortion, and welds up more predictably — ideal for high-stress chassis work.

Weld compatibility: TIG/MIG; welds to 4130 and mild steel.

Triangulated design puts material exactly where it fights compression/tension best. You get stiffness that rivals thick tube frames but at a fraction of the weight—critical for mini rods where every pound affects pull, hookup, and speed.

Axial Load Efficiency

Members only see push/pull → you can use thinner/lighter extrusions (aluminum or steel) without buckling or sagging. No wasted material resisting bending like in a plain rectangular rail.

Built-in Rigidity & Torsion Resistance

The truss web (those diagonal braces) prevents the rail from twisting or buckling sideways under torque from the engine/hitch or lateral pull forces. In pulling, where you slam huge shear and twist into the frame, this triangulation is gold.

Modular / Bolt-On Heaven

The pre-drilled hole pattern in your extruded truss profile turns the rail into a giant mounting grid. Every intersection is a potential 1/4" bolt point → attach brackets, engine mounts, suspension tabs, body panels, ballast, whatever—all bolt-on, no welding required for mods.

Adjustability & Serviceability

Want to move a mount? Unbolt and shift it to another hole grid spot. Smash a rail? Replace just that side truss instead of torching the whole chassis.

Vibration & Fatigue Resistance

Even load distribution + no bending stresses = less cracking over time. Pulling tractors beat the shit out of frames; truss spreads the abuse better.
